FAQ

What is UGC Ready?

UGC Ready connects brands with approved UGC creators and manages the process from start to finish. Our goal is to make UGC simple and straightforward for everyone involved.

Is UGC Ready an agency?

UGC Ready isn’t a traditional agency or a self serve marketplace. We approve creators, match them to brand needs, and manage the process so there’s no guesswork, unpaid work, or confusion.

What does UGC include?

UGC (User-Generated Content) includes content created by creators for brands to use, not necessarily posted on the creator’s own account.

This can include:

  • Short form videos (for TikTok, Reels, Shorts)

  • Ad style videos (hooks, demos, testimonials)

  • Story style content

  • Static images and lifestyle photos

  • Voiceovers and b-roll

  • Website and product page content

All deliverables, usage rights, and payment are agreed on before work begins.

What does UGC not include?

  • Posting to a creator’s personal account

  • Influencer marketing or audience reach

  • Guaranteed engagement, views, or sales

Those fall under influencer or paid media services, which are separate from UGC creation.

Can UGC be used for ads and websites?

Yes. UGC is commonly used across:

  • Paid ads

  • Social media channels

  • Websites and landing pages

  • Email and digital marketing

Usage details are always confirmed upfront.

General

FAQ

Do creators have to pay to join?

No. Creators never pay to apply or join UGC Ready.

Do I need a large following to apply?

No. Follower count doesn’t matter. We focus on content quality, presentation, and reliability. Not audience size or experience level.

How often do I need to apply?

You apply once. If approved, you’ll be considered for future paid projects that match your content style and availability.

What happens if my application is rejected?

Not every application is a fit right away. If your application isn’t approved, this can include factors like lighting, audio quality, or overall presentation. This isn’t a reflection of your potential, you’re welcome to reapply as your content evolves.

How do I get paid?

Payment details are shared upfront before any work begins, including what you’re creating, the timeline, and pay amount. Once content is delivered and confirmed to meet the agreed upon details, payment is issued.

Is there unpaid test content?

No. UGC Ready does not support unpaid test work.

Can I work with other brands outside UGC Ready?

Yes. Creators work independently and are non-exclusive.

FAQ

Do brands pay to submit a request?

No. Brands don’t pay to tell us what they need.

When does payment happen?

Payment is collected after project details and pricing are confirmed, and before content creation begins. This ensures projects move forward smoothly and creators are paid fairly.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing depends on your content needs, deliverables, and timeline. All pricing is shared and agreed on before any work begins.

What happens if a creator can’t deliver?

If a creator is unable to deliver, we’ll either replace them or refund the portion of the project that wasn’t completed.

Can we review content before final delivery?

Yes. Brands review content before final delivery and may request one round of minor revisions, based on the original project details. Revisions are for small adjustments, not new concepts or additional deliverables.

FAQ

Who owns the content?

Content usage rights are agreed on before work begins. This includes where the content can be used (such as ads or social media) and for how long.

Is performance guaranteed?

UGC Ready does not guarantee engagement, performance, or sales results. We guarantee clear expectations, paid work, and a fair, transparent process.

What happens after I submit a form?

Every submission is reviewed manually. If it’s a good fit, we’ll follow up by email with next steps.
